The Solo Parent Sleep Coach

Infant sleep consultant

Helping you and your little one get the sleep you deserve.

If you’re raising your little one solo, you already know that most sleep advice wasn’t written with you in mind. I created this space because you deserve support that actually fits your life.

I’m Chess, a certified sleep consultant working exclusively with solo parents. I use gentle, holistic approaches to help your baby sleep — and to help you finally get some rest too.

Whether you’re already in the thick of sleepless nights or preparing for solo parenthood and want to get ahead of it, you’re in the right place.

If you’re raising a baby or toddler on your own and running on empty due to lack of good sleep, you’re in the right place.

As a solo parent myself, I know what it’s like to carry the whole mental load alone, to juggle every responsibility alone and to make every important choice alone. It’s not an easy task. But when your child doesn’t sleep well, it just makes everything so much harder- especially when you do not have anyone to share the wake-ups with and support you when you really need it… When you’re a solo parent, sleep isn’t just nice to have- it’s essential.

Restorative sleep is also very important for your little one to grow and develop as they should.

The good news? Better sleep is possible and I can help you achieve it!

Whether your baby is waking up multiple times in the night, your toddler is fighting bedtime and refusing naps, or you’re simply exhausted from months (or years!) of broken and poor quality sleep, I’m here to help you to create a gentle and realistic plan that works for you and your family .

Being a solo parent is hard but being a sleep deprived solo parent is even harder.

Hi I’m Chess!

Certified infant sleep consultant, primary school teacher, psychology graduate and solo mama to my little boy.

I use gentle, step-by-step methods to help your little one learn to fall asleep independently and need less intervention from you at night time, meaning you can both get the restful sleep you deserve.

Being your child’s sole provider means that your bond is everything- and the last thing that you want is for sleep to become a battleground. I get that. Because I’ve been there, in the dark, exhausted, night after night, doing it completely alone, and it’s not easy.

When I was in the thick of sleep deprivation and desperately seeking a resolution, I found it so hard to relate to the advice being given and the people giving it. No one knows what it is like being a sleep-deprived solo parent unless they have lived it. And I have.

That’s why everything I do is built around you — your reality, your limits, your child. Not a two-parent household. Not a village. Just you, doing an incredible job, and deserving of real, practical support that actually fits your life. When we work together, you get a plan that works with your solo parent world — not against it.
